A short version of the long story.

I work on projects at Siemens where sustainability meets product. Currently leading analytics/tools for Scope 3 emissions, circular economy and eco-design across the Building Technology portfolio. The problems are tricky because nobody agrees on what “sustainable” means until you show them the data.

On the side I’m building open-source tools for carbon analysis, predictive maintenance, and energy optimization. Partly to sharpen my own skills (and keep me close to hands-on technical work), partly because I find recent AI-based development tools hold potential.

PhD from ETH Zürich, experience at Empa, Dow, and the World Bank. Pursuing an MBA at Imperial College London to complement my technical background and sharpen the business, product, and data strategy skills that actually determine whether things ship.
