About
Background and skills.
At Siemens I lead programs and digital tools delivery across product sustainability, supplier decarbonization, and scope 3 emissions, covering life cycle assessment, eco-design, and circularity, making sustainability operational within the organization.
On the side I build open-source tools and dashboards for sustainability and energy analytics, such as a machine-learning estimator for Scope 3 emissions, a multi-agent LLM retrofit recommender, and a sustainability skills matching platform. These builds keep me close to hands-on code, with digital and AI tools speeding up the work.
I trained as a chemical engineer, then worked in consulting and commercial roles at the World Bank and Dow before moving into energy and environmental research: a PhD at ETH Zürich and a lead researcher role at Empa. I went from producing the analysis to owning the programs and products built on that analysis. I am now completing a part-time MBA at Imperial College London to sharpen the strategy and business side of that work.
